Positive Thoughts

Saying these few affirmations the first thing you wake up and a few times within the day helps. This is nowhere close to being narcissistic, however, we have to prioritize the first person in our lives. YOU.

Read something from the OPRAH magazine the other day and that really motivated me to started looking inside myself and appreciate myself better. "Life is too short for drama and wasted energy for those people who are not even considered an issue in your life."

Let's enjoy the NOW. That's what we have.

I am a great person.

I am a positive being and I attract positivity around me.

I love myself and take care of myself.

I am a good daughter.

I am good wife.

I am a good mother to my kids.

I am healthy.

I am loving.

I am grateful for all my blessings.

I attract happiness.

I attract prosperity.

I attract good and quality friendships.

I am valuable.

I accept and love myself wholly.

I forgive myself for whatever mistakes I've done in the past, now, and in the future.

Mind you, you can also create your own personal affirmations and remind yourself of how good you are and change the events of your life. Try it for 30 days straight and see the positive results.

Take care. Let go and let God....

What Do You Really Want?

What if there's no mortgage to pay, car loans, insurance and other bills that you need to worry about? What is it that you really want and why?

If there's nothing that I worry about then, I still want to become a nurse, have a family of my own, travel the world, have my own business, become a writer and continue to keep pushing and making things happen.  For now, I have to count my own blessings and pursue things that I have control with and still be at peace with all the choices that I end up with.

What about you? What do you want?

It Is Never Too Late

When I look around me, I see that the competition is getting tougher and stronger. I do have days where I don't know what to do and how to stay positive when it comes to what should I do next especially that I am in my early thirties. I have so many things that I need to achieve that's not being crossed on my list. I just have to focus my energy on making things happen and stay committed to whatever I needed to accomplish.

It dawned on me that I really have to stay positive for myself and my family and friends. I know that it's easier said than done. However, I have to do it. And I remind myself all the time that no matter how we stay positive in all that we do, there will always be annoying people and naysayers surrounding us. One thing, I learned from all of these experience is that no matter how irritating those pesky people could get into our nerves, I believe that they happen for us. They teach us how to behave as adults and excel in whatever we do and let our light shine. I am just thankful that I have a few treasured people whom I can count on all throughout.

I just recently finished reading the book, Eat, Pray, Love. I must admit, I loved the book compared to the movie. Elizabeth Gilbert, is so spot on, vulnerable, very funny in telling her sad and happy story in her quest for love. I have been thinking of starting to give my energy into writing, again. I just have to renew my passion and commitment to be there and be raw and speak and write from the bottom of my heart and tell my story to the world. So, yes, it is never too late to pursue your dream. We age, yes, but I believe that if you align yourself to being positive and put your energy into something that would somehow know your purpose in this thing called, life. Reading that book really excites me to jumpstart my love for writing. Yes, it is never too late to start something that you really love and want. According to the famous NIKE logo. "Just Do It." You, alone can make that dream come true, whatever it is that you want in your life. Life is sometimes tough. Yes, we all have our ups and downs but it's not how many things we fall but it's how we stand up each time we fall and start again. Shake off the pity parties and pursue what you want. We will never get out of this live alive. Let us might as well do whatever we need to do and learn from our past mistakes.

I love the fact that I have someone who believes in what I do and what I can achieve. I am grateful. "This little light of mine, I'm gonna let it shine." "Let it shine, let it shine, let it shine."

Mabuhay! Mazeltov! Bon Chance! Good luck! God bless us all!
